A Flash Flood warning
has been issued for Imperial Beach until 7pm. One road, Monument Road,in the
Tijuana River Valley by the Tijuana Estuary has already been closed and
residents at the beach are putting out sand bags in front of their homes.
David
Smith, who lives along the Imperial Beach reports that he has put up Sand Bags
in front of his and his neighbor’s house. he says the surf right now is about 5
to 6 foot but he doesn't expect anything really bad until the king tides come
in Thursday but at the same time he is prepared just in case. Said David, I
don't want to get caught and be unprepared. we have had flooding come inside
the apartment before.
In
Coronado, flooding has been reported along orange Avenue making for a slow
drive home for commuters.
