Residents of Imperial Beach living along the Coast are Preparing for Flooding due to Extreme High Tides, Heavy Surf and Heavy Winds!

According to one resident who lives in an apartment right on the beach with his wife, when interviewed he said" We'vs been working all day to prepare for tomorrow's high tide and big waves. Hope we don't get washed away. It could happen. Have fortified the front door with sand bags from Imperial Beach Fire Department, and moved everything most important onto dressers and cabinets...

For those who may need sandbags they are available for free at the  Imperial Beach Fire Department.(619) 423-8223 The Fire Department is located at: 865 Imperial Beach Blvd
Imperial Beach, Ca 91932.

The Farmers market was closed Friday due to high winds.
