San Diego Habitat for Humanity To Dedicate 11 New Homes in Escondido

Celebrating renewed hope for local families


WHO:  San Diego Habitat for Humanity (SDHFH)

WHAT: A home dedication ceremony to celebrate the housewarming of 11 families in Escondido, who always believed that homeownership was beyond their reach.


WHEN:  Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 3:00pm


WHERE:  537 N. Elm Street, Escondido, CA 92025

Directions from downtown San Diego:  Follow 163 North and I-15 North to 78 East.  Turn right on North Broadway.  Turn Left on East Washington.  Turn right on North Elm Street.  Destination is on the right.


WHY:  Working alongside dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors, and in partnership with local families in need, San Diego Habitat for Humanity has completed 11 more simple, decent, safe and affordable homes for homeownership.  Guests at this heartwarming event will wish the new homeowner family well and send them blessings as they embark on their new lives filled with renewed hope and success.

(SDHFH), the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit organization that builds simple, decent and affordable homes for ownership by local families in need.  Habitat partner families are selected on the basis of housing need, willingness to partner with Habitat and ability to repay an affordable mortgage loan.
