The IB Free Market which was held Last Saturday at the Imperial Beach United
Methodist Church was a Big Success!

The Free Market had a constant flow of people coming to drop things off and an equal amount of people coming to pick things up that they needed.

At lunch time someone went to Giant Pizza King and picked up a couple of huge pizzas for the workers there and they had water and tea for them as well.

One of the helpers at the event, Debra Marie Davino, was very happy with the turn out and
expected that this would be doing again sometime to try to help the community.

The event which took place at the Imperial Beach United Methodist Church at 425 Palm
Avenue is know for having many events trying to help the less fortunate.

They also run a food bank there to try and help the less fortunate and are always looking for volunteers. If you have an interest in volunteering to help you can email Pastor John Griffin at
