IB Girls 10u & 14u All Star Teams Advance to State Championship Tournament. Need Your Support

The Imperial Beach Girls Softball League is sending 2 teams to STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT and needs the community’s support. Over the weekend the 14u & 10u All Star Teams pulled off an amazing feat by both qualifying in the ASA State Championship Tournament. Both the 14u and 10u Girls Teams accomplished this feat by competing against 16 other teams with both teams taking 2nd place to qualify for the State Championship Tournament.

To giv e you an idea of what a big achievement this is, here is a list of the teams they were competing against that was provided by the 10u Manager, Chris Padilla:

There were some much larger leagues the IB Girls had to compete against. Big leagues like Escondido and Clairemont, Carlsbad, Vista. In all there were 17 teams in the District League: 

North San Diego Carlsbad
South San Diego Clairemont
South San Diego Coronado -SSD
North San Diego Escondido 
North San Diego Fallbrook 
South San Diego Imperal Beach
North San Diego La Costa
South San Diego Lakeside  
North San Diego Ramona
South San Diego Rancho San Diego 
South San Diego San Diego fast pitch
North San Diego San Diguito
North San Diego Scripps Ranch NSD
South San Diego UC Del Sol 
South San Diego Valley Mesa  SSD
North San Diego Vista
