Global Awareness Day at Pier South was a big success with a turnout of about 300 people. They had complimentary fitness classes, health food and seminars touching on health, fitness and good eating. They also had local business with tables around the lobby that featured complementary classes or discounted classes as well as complementary health products to sample.

They also had a small acoustic band that kept the spirit up and everyone seemed to have smiles on there faces and had a really good time.

Global Awareness was celebrated today in over 55 countries. This was it's first time here and the event is growing at an unbelievable speed. It was the brainchild of Belgin Aksoy in of Turkey who said "They have days for everything else, why not a Global Awareness Day.
