Next IB City Council Budget Workshop to be on Wednesday June 3rd in the Community Room

May 19, 2015 12:40AM ● Published by Paul Spear

The last Workshop on May 13th was the first of at least three Budget Workshops the City Council will be holding on the budget. Staff reviewed the proposed budget with the elected officials and discussed the potential capital improvements projects. The members of the City Council asked some great questions, but most of them did not result in any substantive changes to the budget. The proposed budget represents a balanced General Fund with budget reserves within the established 30-40% range as required by Council policy.

The next Imperial Beach City Council Budget Workshop will be on Wednesday June 3rd in the Community Room at 6pm with another meeting on June 17 when it is anticipated the budget will be adopted.

A special thanks to Andy Hall, City Manager, for providing details of the meeting!
