Rider Fraud has led to IB Residents being affected by New MTS Identification Checking Policy on Buses

A MTS Review found massive abuse of non-qualified riders using its various discount rider programs which has led to bus rider’s Identification being checked anytime a discounted ticket program is used or discounted fare is requested. This affects students, seniors and the disabled riders using discounted tickets or plans.

This new policy means that anyone with a discounted are will be asked for proof or ID to be able to board and ride the bus.
