Alex began the journey into photography at the age of 8 in Los Angeles. Alex’s family moved from East Los Angeles to escape a neighborhood that was going downhill to Imperial Beach in 1979 as a 5th grade kid and attended Oneonta  Elementary, Mar Vista Jr HS and Mar Vista High School.

Al is currently shooting with Olympus Ee-m10 SLR Camera and tough series water cameras. Besides surf photography, he also enjoys “nature, surf photography as well as  travel and urban photography and these are among his current projects.

Alex also included some photos o Costa Rica.

Besides the imperial beach surfing photos project, Alex is working on a line of Classic Imperial Beach T-Shirts.

A few o the photographs added are of Costa Rica.
