Volunteers of all Ages Turned out Sunday to Help with the Imperial Beach Sports Park Cleanup

Sunday, volunteers of all ages from 5 month old Sophia on up turned out to help with the cleanup of the Imperial Beach Sports Park.

Helping with the cleanup included (in no particular order):

Don Spicer President of the Sports Park Committee and IB Little League President.

Matthew McCoy Vice President of the Sports Park Committee, Member  of the Board for Girls                                    Fast Pitch Softball and member of the IB Posse.

David Sanchez and his whole family showed up to pitch in. This included his 5 month old daughter Sophia who was on the sidelines with mom cheering on her dad and 2 brothers. David is a Director on the Sports Park Committee and Director Imperial Beach Boys and Girls Club.

Mar Vista High School was represented by Key Club President Salina and fellow Key Club member Samantha.

Gary Brown who is President of the Imperial Beach / South Bay Kiwanis came by and helped with the clean up as well.

Former Teacher, Josie Hamada was one of the first people there and pitched in as well. Josey is very active in the IB Committee and was heavily involved helping in the election of IB Mayor Serge Dedina.

Kendra Briscoe, from Kaleidoscope Kidz Daycare & Preschool in IB was there and pitched in along with her 2 grandchildren Cooper & Beau.
