Not all the cars on the Blue Line are "low-floor" yet. So if you are handicapped, you will still want to wait towards the front. However, the first and the last car on the line are "low floor" and the 2 cars in the middle are the old style.

The Metropolitan Transit System and San Diego Association of Governments to celebrated the new low-floor trolley service on the Blue Line Tuesday (January 27), 11 AM at the 8th Street Trolley Station at 555 W. 8th Street in National City.

Imperial Beach residents were invited to join Councilmember Lorie Bragg and the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce at the Palm Avenue Trolley Station at 10:30 AM to shuttle over to the event.  Wear a blue shirt to commemorate the event!  The disabled community was invited to attend.

In talking with the MTS tuesday. Only 2 of the 4 cars running on the line were low floor. So it was strongly suggested that if you are handicapped you wait up front still. MTS did not have a date when all cars would be low floor.
