Palm Avenue Mixed Use and Commercial Corridor Master Plan - Second Community Workshop - January 15th

The City of Imperial Beach and its consultant team are continuing their work the Palm Avenue Mixed-Use & Commercial Corridor Master Plan which has built upon the Master Plan Study approved by the City Council in February 2009.  After receiving significant feedback, comments and input during the First Community Workshop held on April 29, 2014, from the City's website, and at subsequent community outreach presentations on May 15th, May 20th, May 22nd and May 27th, the City and its consultant team have completed 30% drawings for the project and will soon begin the environmental phase of the project.  Additionally, City Council Briefings were provided last year on April 16th, May 21st, August 6th and December 10th during the regular City Council meetings.   For a summary of the input received to date and to provide any additional input, please visit the City's dedicated Web Page for this project at www.ImperialBeachCA.gov/PalmMasterPlan

At this Workshop, a project update will be provided and a presentation will be given on the results of the traffic study and along with a peak hour traffic simulation video.  Workshop attendees will also be asked to provide input on various streetscape and landscape design elements for the project.
