On Saturday, Santa Claus visited the Imperial Beach Branch of San Diego County Libraries in a Fire Truck to visit and have picture taken with children. With Christmas a few days away his reindeer needed rest for the big night so the Imperial Beach Fire Department helped him out with his ride.

Children were entertained by getting to meet Santa Claus and by having their picture taken with Santa, they also received free books refreshments. Also included in the good time with Santa were a grab bag with prizes.

A good time was had by all and Santa Claus promised to come by next year and visit again.
Although he did say that he would be needing a ride again next year as his reindeer have to save up all their energy for Christmas Eve.
