"United Here"Picketing at Del Coronado! Is Imperial Beach and Pier South Next?

Editors Opinion!

Unite Here is a very large Union Headquartered in New Your with "Locals" spread out throughout the United States and Canada. This also includes "Local 30" that covers the San Diego area!

Unite Here has now spent over $100,000 on the elections in Imperial Beach! That kind of money in not spent in a city the size of Imperial Beach unless you want something! Imperial Beach has a population less than 29,000 people. The problem is, the voters don't know what it is! There are probably one or two people who know and they are not talking about it. I ask you to think about this long and hard. Do you spend over $100,000 in a city the size of Imperial Beach unless you want something? What is the agenda they have, if the people they are endorsing get into office?

In Coronado, a city of less than 24,000, they have been picketing out in front of the Del Coronado! If they get in, is Pier South next? We just don't know! The only thing we know is Unite Here has spent over $100,000 on the elections of Imperial Beach with the intent of getting the people they are sponsoring in office! If we let that happen and wait till then to find out their agenda, the face of Imperial Beach could change dramatically before we have a chance to find out! Personally, I don't want to take that chance!
