Coast Guard comes to the Rescue in Imperial Beach!

Recently advanced E-7's in the Coast Guard volunteered to come out to the Imperial Beach Sports Park and fix-up the ballfields for the youth 09 U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers assisted with: mowing fields, hanging dugout tarps, field base and line clean-up, park maintenance, 

The participating Coast Guard were: Martin Bowley, Scott Aiello, John McIntyre, Crystal Martens, Dale Rennell, Kenneth Davis, Javier Rojas,  Art Lopez, Norma Gonzalez, and Michael Ralich.

Working as part of the Coast Guard chief Petty Officer Association (CPOA) which is a non-profit organization to assist Coast Guard members in times of need, community Service, fundraising and donating. For more information visit: www.USCGCPOA.com

The Coast Guard does lots of community service. Just some of the groups they help are: Youth Programs, assist the Navy on the USS Midway, Homeless Shelters, Habitat for Humanity and much more!
