As part of the deal to keep he park and in city hands a group volunteered to cleanup the park the last Tuesday starting around 5:30 pm. I got the information about the event from Candy Unger and her husband Tim o"Neil. David Sanchez, Sport Park Director was in hand besides him, Candy & Tim, Richard, London and their mom were there helping and there were several others there helping out. As soon as I get their names, they will be added to the article. AND A BIG "thank you"  "for a job well done" by all.

Leaders of the cleanup committee include:
for IB Girls Softball: Chad Harbin, Matt McCoy & Monique McCoy
for Little League: Don Spicer
for: Boys & Girls Club: David Sanchez

We will post the other leaders ASAP!

If you are interested in helping, in the future, contact ME and I will get your name and info to the proper people in charge.

At 6 pm their were well over 30 kids using the skateboard park and baseball practice was going on at a couple of the Diamonds.
