One of many types of routers to send wifi throughout your home.
Customers of Internet Providers Running into Data Overage Problems! Like to watch Netflix on your TV at home. Have a few TVs? Stream video to them? How about watching movies or streaming music or network games on your PlayStation or XBOX. Be it VUDU, Red Box, Cinema Now, Chromecast, Google, Hulu and many more of those services. Well your Internet Service Provider, be it Cox, Time Warner or one of the others have a cap on how much data they allow you to use. Most are around 300GB per month which is a lot of data. However, if you have a big family with a lot of wifi devices you might have noticed that if you have used the internet and gone over 300GB that the price of your service could go up or if you abuse the limit to much, some people have had their internet shut down. Not in IB that I am aware of. So far Cox is just giving out warnings but if you were thinking you could go without a cable company to watch TV and just use internet services, you may have to rethink that plan. Stay tuned in and as we learn more we will pass along the information.
